Our Dentists

Dean H. Burget, D.D.S. & Sandra K. Gadwood, D.D.S.

We have practiced dentistry for over 30 years in the city of Pinole, and continue to do so with great pride and experience. Graduates of the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, and a husband and wife team, we've built a dental practice that reflects our strong moral values, our committment for quality dentistry, and our pursuit for continuous learning and dental knowledge to best serve our patients. Our intention is not to "sell" dentistry to you, but to provide you with dental treatment that best serves your oral heath needs and your concerns for long-term success. We both have advanced training in cosmetic dentistry at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) with Dr. Harry Albers. In our free time, we enjoy making trips to Oregon, and spending time with our two sons and dog, "Lucky."

Gretchen S. Gadwood, D.D.S.

I am the niece of Dr. Dean Burget and Dr. Sandra Gadwood, and I joined the practice in 2005. It is an honor to be welcomed into such a warm and well-rounded practice. My uncle and aunt, who were a large part of my upbringing, continue to be family that I respect and admire for their compassion and knowledge in and out of the office. I grew up in Richmond, and went to Pinole Valley High for high school. Even though I received my B.S. degree in Psychobiology with a minor in English Literature from Occidental College in Los Angeles, and received my dental education from

NYU College of Dentistry in New York, it was only natural that I come full circle and return home to my family. It is here that I continue to work, learn and strive for dental excellence through continuing education courses, study groups and diverse patient treatments. I'm a big believer in patient education, patient comfort and restoring dental form, function and esthetics, and I promise to give you my best. My interests outside of dentistry are singing karaoke, kickboxing, playing Scrabble, and caring for my 3 cats.
